Please be sure to review all of the following policies:

General Guidelines:

Be Safe

Follow all show policies, venue rules, and staff directions. No running, jumping, throwing, or other unsafe shenanigans. Support each other in maintaining a safe environment. Report concerns to organizers (Justin, Lindsey, Cierra or Derrick) or con security

Respect Others

Do not include games or material of a sensitive nature or that have no place in a public gaming environment such as SA/Rape/X-rated activities? Don’t harass other attendees, staff or vendors. Respect everyone’s physical, social boundaries and their personal property. No stealing, cheating, trolling, or griefing. We recommend using a safety checklist or X card for any games with any mature or potentially triggering content

Have Fun

Remember to eat, sleep and shower.
Make a friend.
Play some games.
Explore.

Everyone should observe common sense rules for behavior, personal interaction, courtesy, and respect. Harassing or offensive behavior will not be tolerated. We define harassment as any behavior that threatens a person or group or produces an unsafe and non-inclusive environment. Harassment includes, but is not limited to, offensive verbal comments or non-verbal expressions related to gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, ethnicity, age, or religious beliefs.

Furthermore, harassment includes, but is not limited to, sexual or discriminatory images in public and quasi-public spaces (online and offline), intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Harassment may take the form of comments, epithets, slurs, discriminatory or insensitive jokes, teasing, display or discussion of written or graphic material, repeatedly standing too close to or brushing up against a person, or giving gifts of an unwanted or sexual nature. Advocating or encouraging any of the above is also considered harassment.

If you experience or witness harassment, your safety is our top priority. If you feel comfortable doing so, make the behavior known to the guilty party and request that they stop immediately. If it continues or you feel uncomfortable or unsafe approaching the individual, report any harassing behavior to game hall organizers or convention security.

As Game Masters, it is your responsibility to maintain a safe table free of harassment. If this behavior is witnessed during one of your sessions, it is your right to have the player removed from the table- again either directly or by bringing the attention of one of the organizers or security staff who will handle the disruption for you.

Examples of behavior that may warrant removal from a game include but are not limited to:

-Harassment as defined above
-Intentionally disruptive behavior such as talking over other player, repetitive abusive or vulgar language, constant cell phone usage during the game session
-Outbursts of anger or aggression either at the GM or other players
-Hate speech including language relating to race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, appearance, etc.
-Theft or unapproved usage of other people’s materials

Please note that these guidelines apply equally to players and Game Masters. If you witness any of the above behaviors from a fellow GM, or have any such behavior reported to you about a fellow GM by a player or convention attendee, you MUST report the behavior to a member of the gaming organizer team (Justin, Lindsey, Cierra, Derrick)
